A creamy, tangy, and savory dip inspired by the beloved Midwestern pickle roll-ups — all the flavors, none of the rolling!

Origin Pickle Rollup Dip

Pickle roll-ups (cream cheese, pickles, and deli meat rolled into a snack) are a Midwest party staple. This dip takes the same ingredients and turns them into an easy, crowd-pleasing bowl.

What I Love About This Recipe

It’s addictive, easy to make ahead, and pairs perfectly with crackers or veggies. All the pickle-meat-cheese goodness in one creamy bite — and no assembly required!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped

  • ¾ cup deli ham or dried beef, finely chopped

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Crackers, pretzels, or celery sticks, for serving

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth.
  • Fold in chopped pickles, ham or dried beef, and garlic powder.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve cold with your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, stir in a tablespoon of pickle juice.
  • Use dried beef for a more classic roll-up flavor, or turkey/ham for a lighter version.
  • Can be made a day in advance — just stir before serving.
