What is Banana Bread?
Banana bread is a type of quick bread, which means it doesn’t need yeast to rise. Instead, it uses baking soda or baking powder, which helps the bread rise quickly when baked. With a moist texture, a sweet banana flavor, and a hint of vanilla, banana bread has become a staple in kitchens worldwide.
How Long Does Banana Bread Last?
Banana bread stays fresh at room temperature for around four days. If stored in the freezer, it can last for two to four months.
Can You Freeze Banana Bread?
Absolutely! To freeze banana bread, first let it cool completely. Then, wrap the loaf tightly in a layer of plastic wrap followed by a layer of aluminum foil. If you prefer to thaw single servings, wrap individual slices before freezing.
