½ cup pistachio cream (store-bought or homemade)
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
¼ cup pistachio cream
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and vanilla, then stir in flour and salt.
- Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a bowl, mix pistachio cream, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Roll out the dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
- Spread the pistachio filling evenly over the dough.
- Roll tightly from the long side and cut into 12 equal rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let them rise for 30 minutes.
