1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2–3 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Garlic powder and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, bacon (if using), garlic powder, and pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry and spread the cheese mixture evenly over half.
- Fold the pastry in half over the filling and press lightly to seal.
- Cut into strips (about 1-inch wide), then twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Serve warm with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
