1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup tomato sauce or sloppy joe sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
4 tbsp butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
