Ingredients

  • 200g pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or linguine)

  • 250g shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Directions

  • Cook the Pasta – Boil water, add salt, and cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  • Sauté the Shrimp – Heat olive oil in a pan, add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare the Sauce – In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  • Combine – Add cooked pasta and shrimp back into the pan. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
