Origin Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon Bites
Inspired by the growing love for air fryer recipes and bold, restaurant-style flavors at home, this dish blends the richness of salmon with the zing of mustard and sweetness of honey — a modern, health-conscious twist on glazed fish.
What I Love About This Recipe
It’s fast, healthy, and loaded with flavor. The salmon gets crispy on the outside and stays juicy inside. Plus, the honey mustard sauce caramelizes just enough in the air fryer to create irresistible bites every time.

kcalIngredients
1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch chunks
1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley or sesame seeds, for garnish
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the salmon bites to the bowl and toss gently to coat evenly. Let them marinate for 10–15 minutes (or while the air fryer preheats).
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd).
- Air fry for 7–9 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped parsley or sesame seeds. Great with rice, salad, or roasted veggies.
Notes
- For extra caramelization, brush a little more honey mustard on halfway through cooking.
- You can also add a splash of lemon juice or a pinch of chili flakes for a flavor twist.
- Works great with frozen salmon — just thaw and pat dry before using.
