kcalIngredients
12-15 fresh strawberries (washed and dried)
200g dark or milk chocolate
50g white chocolate (for drizzling)
Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
Directions
- Break dark or milk chocolate into pieces and microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth and fully melted.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, covering 2/3 of the berry. Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate the dipped strawberries for about 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
- In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate using the same method as the dark chocolate.
- Once the dark chocolate has set, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dipped strawberries for an elegant touch.
- Decorate (Optional):
- Add sprinkles, edible glitter, or other decorative toppings to make them extra special.
- Once set, serve immediately, or store in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
Notes
- Customizable: Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate, toppings, or even adding a hint of flavor to the chocolate (e.g., vanilla, peppermint).
- Draining Strawberries: Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from sliding off
